We have met so many young people in Uganda over the years who could not understand the love of God because they have been blinded by the pain of abuse and abandonment that they have experienced in their families. This was written to give them a biblical understanding of the Father’s heart and to lead them into a life-transforming realization of His love.

The Lord has used it to help thousands of people grasp the heart of the Gospel and the depths of God’s love for them. We continually hear testimonies of people who have been enabled to forgive those who have hurt them; who have seen deep healing in their hearts and in their family relationships; who have embraced a new identity as beloved children of God; and who have begun to walk in the beauty of the life that He created them to live.

It can be read individually, but many have found it beneficial to walk through each chapter with a trusted friend or a small group.
