Can Wat Hillary (Worldview student)

"The one thing that you cannot hide from while at The Father’s House is love. Genuine love, the kind of love that inspires you and points you towards the source of true genuine love, God. There is a sense warmth that you can't feel until you are actually there. This is from the environment itself, the stones around the compound with Bible verses that continually and intentionally point you to the heart of who God is.

And the worldview course stands out for me specifically because it has impacted me greatly. My heart towards those who have a low view of the gospel (especially the prosperity gospel) was one of arrogance and judgement. But going through the classes of worldview, I was given new lenses to view things. Now I pray more and genuinely about them because for someone their view of the gospel and of who God is has always been tainted by their experience of culture, family, traditions, friends and families, etc.

I got to know that I had my own glasses as well with which I viewed God and this humbled me. My  view of prayer has since then changed, from praying to a distant being who does according to his will, from praying out of obligation to praying to a Father who knows what I need and who cares for me not from a distance but wants to have an intimate relationship with us.

Through this ministry and through His people, God has touched and is touching people's lives and hearts. As Pastor Dave says in his book, 'God loves people. He wants to pour out His love into the lives of people. And He accomplishes it by working through people.'

The Father’s House is a ministry of LOVE, it's a house of LOVE, the love of God."
